ZingBong is an email service that allows you to use your phone number as your email address while retaining your current email address. Can I use a landline or only a cell-phone?
Thanks to ZingBong’s advanced confirmation system, you can use any phone number – either landline or cell-phone – for your ZingBong address. If you choose to use your cell-phone number, a confirmation will be sent via txt-message to your mobile phone. If you choose to use a land-line, you will receive a phone confirmation. These confirmations are in place to ensure that only you have access to your number.
How does ZingBong use my information?
ZingBong’s strict privacy policy will ensure that your personal information remains personal and safe. We absolutely do not sell or give out any of your information to any other parties. Our user definable rule based email filtration system lets you know that it is our mission to reduce spam and junk mail so that you only get what you want, when you want it.
How do I sign up?
Signing up is a simple process. First you must fill out your information on our registration page, after which you will receive a confirmation with a security code. If you are using a cell-phone, confirmation will be sent via txt message. If you are using a land-line, confirmation will be sent in the form of a phone call.
What if I don’t have text messaging on my cell-phone?
Don’t worry! You can still sign up. When you register, instead of indicating that your phone is a cell-phone, indicate that it is a landline and your confirmation code will be sent to you as a phone call.
What does the rule based email filtration system allow me to do?
ZingBong’s advanced rule based filtration system allows you to configure rules to filter out emails that you don’t want. Once you have configured your rules, you can rest assured that only emails that conform to your custom rules will get to you through ZingBong. You can even configure temporary rules that will expire after usage.
